The past few days....

Here's a snaphot of the last few days of life here with the Emmanuel Center boys! We've been getting them ready for the recording because we go the studio TOMORROW to record their 2nd song for this CD! Please keep them in your prayers that they will all be able to sing their best and that all goes smoothly there. Here's the boys after a long day....we've had them working hard on music lately!!! They are doing amazing!

Here's dinner at the Emmanuel Center.

Here we are at the Market, we took 14 of the boys there yesterday to buy jeans and shoes for the photoshoot on Tuesday. I wish you could have seen the looks on their faces when we told them someone donated money for them to have new (which mainly are used-but new to them) jeans! They had so much fun picking their "Own" out yesterday, and we had so much fun with them!! A true blessing is that all the clothes were paid for by someone, then we had another donate for the last amount needed unexpectedly, then someone paid for the studio fee on Monday! C'mon Jesus!!!

It was SO cute walking around w/Hope on our backs!! All the Tanzanians want to hold her and kiss her!

YES!! That's really what you see! A random guy pushing in a wheelbarrow LIVE CHICKENS!!! LOL All over town you'll see things like this! Yum....very appetizing eh?! :-) The next picture we took them to lunch, they were SO Thankful, and we were too! (They don't get cokes too often, so when they do it's a real treat, and they hardly EVER get to all go out to eat together.)

So this is the first crew of boys in the car, there were 13 of us in Mary's jeep! Great memories!!

These are what the boys shirts will look like! Very African style.

Here's the second group we brought! Mary and I had the first group, for 4 hours shopping and then at lunch.....the second we found in 2 hours! haha :-) Yes, two hours to find 5 pairs of jeans because this market for some reason is lacking in "Cool" guys jeans! They have plenty of women's and old man looking guy jeans, or country looking, but none for teens! haha :-) We had fun for sure!

After the LOOOONNNNGGGG Day finding jeans and shoes for the boys, we still had them practice the song because the Recording at the studio is TOMORROW!! We literally have composed this whole song in ONE WEEK!! And it sounds Amazing!! I can't wait for ya'll to hear it!

We found this beautiful field of flowers on the way to lunch today! (Mary and I :-) Below is beautiful Hope!

Peter and Mary took me to a very nice place for lunch, where you sit outside with the sound of a rushing river beside you, Mt. Kili. in view and all kinds trees and flowers all around. Africa really is SO incredibly beautiful!

This is what we can see on a daily basis....Mt. Kilimanjaro!! It's so amazing because each time I see it, it still only looks like a painting to me, I can't ever believe it's REALLY a mountain! It's so high up in the sky! Thank you so much for praying and believing with us for the Lord to do great things in these boys lives, please continue to pray for them for supernatural healings, finances to come in for them to have just the very basic clothing, sheets, pillows, blankets, food. Thank you also for keeping me in your prayers, it's much needed and felt here in Africa. Have a very blessed day!
