EMMANUEL BOYS CD IS RELEASED!!!

All who followed my time in Tanzania last year, and to those that are now reading...I'm pleased to announce that the Emmanuel Boys CD is OUT!!! This is a project a few of us worked on in Tanzania last year. I received copies from Africa last week!! It's a single with the version of the song in instrumental as well as remix. ALL of the proceeds will go back into the boys home. The CD is a minimum of $10 donation. The name of it is "Wasamehe" and it's about the forgiveness of God. Performed entirely in Swhaili by the author as well as the majority of the children....(and you might even find me in the chorus haha! That was fun!)

The Emmanuel Center started about 8 years ago when my bestfriend Mary and her roommate found these amazing orphaned or homeless boys living under buses and in trenches in Moshi, Tanzania. They took them in as their own and raised them teaching them the ways of the Lord and helping them with school. These boys continue to live as a family and are amazing! They all have great dreams for their futures.



I know all of the boys are SO excited to see this come to pass, and I know they never thought they would be seeing themselves on a CD cover!



87.5 Kili FM in Tanzania is where the recording took place. So impressed were the station workers with the song that it was placed on immediate rotation, and it remains a popular track until now! With its catchy chorus and bouncy backing track produced by Oscer Kahuka, this is no surprise!
